WASH

Mission Statement: Through STEM, social skills workshops, and guest speakers, we hope to empower young women to pursue a combination of STEM and humanities.

Our Programmes

Hi! Our names are Ananya and Ishani, and this is WASH: Women's Alliance in STEM & Humanities.  During the school year, we provide bimonthly classes (one STEM class and one social skills workshop ) to girls (grades 4-8). We also plan on hosting guest speakers from the medical and STEM fields to provide our members with a looking glass into a medical career as a woman.

“WASH is a great program where I am learning to speak in front of people, not only increasing my public speaking skills but also my knowledge upon biology. This program is lead by young leaders whom  I can relate with, and because of that I can learn a lot more. Overall, a great program to be in.."
